To provide functional support and expand system capabilities in the areas of business automation, project management, programming, and administration. This function supports the process of delivering integrated business and information solutions to operational, sales and administrative departments. Gather, interpret, and translate customer needs into requirements that facilitate application development. The role requires the ability to develop detailed business and technical specifications, projected costs and proposals and lead the entire project life cycle from concept (analysis and solution identification) to deliverable (testing and implementation).
ANALYZE complex business issues and assess how automated systems can be implemented to in order resolve them.
Create various types of project management documentation including (but not limited to); BRD's, High Level Workflows, Project Plans, Test Plans, Test Scripts, Status Reports.
LEAD the collection and interpretation of business and end-user needs and formulate recommendations on hardware software procurement.
DEVELOP automated solutions by analyzing requirements, constructing workflows and diagrams, fully comprehending system capabilities and writing detailed specifications.
PROVIDE guidance, leadership and support to other business analysts/project personnel and champion the execution of projects.
INTERFACE with department heads/internal customers in order to identify opportunities for system enhancement/modifications and documenting recommendations for executive review.
DEFINE project requirements by identifying team members, formulation of budget, progress milestones, accountabilities, tracking activities and publishing reports and recommendations of actionable items.
MAINTAIN system protocols by writing and updating documented procedures.
PREPARE technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 9 years of relevant job experience.
Experience and/or Certifications in Programming Languages (e.g. C/C++, VB.Net, Java, Visual Basic, SQL, HTML) preferred.
Six-Sigma, Scrum, Agile or other improvement methodology desirable.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite."
