"Project Manager (Oracle R12)
Oracle R12 Release Manager
The Release Lead required for this position will work closely with Finance and Technology departments on the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the Oracle R12 platform
Responsible for assistance in managing projects and the interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release
• Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews • Weekly Release Reporting • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required • Lead and co-co-ordinate the Go Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex issues and pay attention to details • Ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact across multiple levels of the team across time zones/countries – IT, Finance, Trainers, and end users • Confidently organize and facilitate meetings and conference calls • Proven flexibility and adaptability in changing priorities. • 2-6 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred) • Formal training in project management practices preferred • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
