Install, configure and maintain the virtual environment utilizing VMware Horizon View
Assist in maintaining VDI master images and installing client applications
Develop plans for deploying and administering virtual machines and images
Configure and manage virtual guests
Troubleshoot and resolve VDI issues
Perform daily VDI administration, maintenance and upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Identify unused instances that should be considered for deprovisioning
Troubleshoot O365 message routing and delivery issues (Microsoft and Client-side)
Assess and respond to critical system issues
Manage and escalate support cases with outside vendors, including Microsoft Premier Support
Assist with the administration and troubleshooting of other O365 applications as necessary (Skype, OneDrive, etc.)
I someone who has general technology support knowledge but with expertise/experience in VDI and O365 support. They to be able to clearly communicate verbally and written to keep myself, project managers, and other leadership appraised of work/situations.
