Retail Analytics Data Strategy Manager to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC.
The Retail Analytics Data Strategy Manager will utilize their cross-enterprise retail and analytics knowledge to define an analytics strategy
Additionally, the Retail Analytics Consultant will assist in building the business case for the proposed strategic focus areas.

Responsibilities of the Retail Data Analytics Strategy Manager:

Build an understanding of the Client solutions portfolio
Use market research and use cases to define the analytics strategy
Build business case and develop value proposition Solutions offering
Identify analytics opportunities to enhance the shopper experience, increase sales, loyalty, productivity, and reduce cost for our retail customers
Lead the Analytics Community in the definition, proposal and approval of an analytics strategy
Engage on-site with the clients’ line of business and IT teams to generate a deep understanding of current pain points to identify use cases
Use market research and use cases to define the analytics strategy
Assess the alignment between Commerce Solutions portfolio and new strategy. Identify gaps between the portfolio and strategy.
Assess analytics strategy components by revenue opportunity, customer impact, portfolio fit and other criteria.
Prioritize analytics strategy based on revenue opportunity and build a business case for the strategy.
Translate findings into audience appropriate strategy recommendation
Present strategy proposal and gain buy-in from key stakeholders
Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
5-7 years of Experience in Retail operations with extensive knowledge of cross-enterprise retail operations
Understanding of retailers s for data for enhancing shopper experience, operations excellence and supply chain management.
1-2 years business consulting or similar experience
Business/financial modeling and activity-based costing
Strong executive-level presence and business communication skills (including presentation development and public speaking)
Ability to work independently, manages relationships with client- and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions-side teams, and retain flexibility regarding how individual clients articulate value will be essential
A mix of deep retail operating knowledge with consulting experience and business process orientation is desirable
Preferred Skills:

MBA
Deep retail operating knowledge with consulting experience and business process orientation
Experience with retail strategy, business or management consulting with process orientation
C-level presentation experience
Strong direct experience in analyzing the relevant subject matter (multi-channel operations, customer behavior, pricing, assortment planning, promotions, etc.)
Design and develop optimization algorithms using advanced programming languages (like C , Java, C#, R, Python etc) to help optimize retail operations and understand customer behavior.
Background in building analytics tools such as product affinity models, personalization models, RFM, market basket analysis, customer lifetime value
